Climate change is an existential risk but it is also probably the biggest opportunity of our generation in terms of the scale and scope of investment needed to ensure the recovery is more green than brown. We must tackle the climate change and speed up the global energy transition towards net zero. This results in significant changes from fossil to renewable systems driven by solar, wind, water, geothermal resulting in a decentralized digitized and decarbonized system. If we solve the energy- and the carbon problem, there’s no limit for what humanity can do. If you think about the other problems that we have, for example water, waste or food, they’re all solvable if we have very cheap carbon free energy.
