One of the best books I've read in the Covid-era is MINISTRY FOR THE FUTURE by sci-fi writer Kim Stanley Robinson. Set in the very near future when sh*t has hit the fan (sadly, it starts with a deadly heatwave in India that reads too much like real / recent BBC headlines) – it paints a bleak picture, and tells the story of how we try to dig ourselves out of the hole. Must read.
